About Christina: I am constantly growing in the various identities I hold: Daughter, Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, Colleague, Supervisor, Therapist, Community member, and Settler. Within it all, I am a person who values vulnerability, accountability, humour and deep meaningful connections. In the winter you’ll find me under multiple layers and in the summer, you can find me where the food and dance-like-no-one-is-watching music is at. I’m still looking for my “hobby”, but I have concluded with confidence it doesn’t involve sports-ball. Sarcasm and wit are my love language but when I am feeling down, a good ol’ safe space to cry and be held, fills my emotional cup. Looking forward to getting to know you!

About Therapy with Christina: Welcome to your first step in inviting meaningful change in your life and in your relationships. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist of 8 years. My individuality is rooted in: my cultural identity, the roles I hold (as wife, mother, sibling, friend, child, and therapist), & the values I hold (for respect, authenticity, care, community and fun).

In individual therapy, I invite you to connect with me, to explore the values you hold dear, what is getting in the way of honouring those values, and then collaborate in creating concrete steps to getting you closer to where you hope to be! Although it is just you and I in the room, often we will explore your relationships with concepts and/or people outside of the room, that are influencing who you are and who you want to be.

I truly believe you have the strengths and capacity to invite the change you are looking for and lean into the fact that you are the expert on you and your situation. I am just the expert on asking the right questions. There might be some tough questions and moments. Fear not, I will be right there to go at your pace, gently challenge you, and hold a non-judgemental, anti-oppressive, safe space for you to grow and move into your best self. Scary as it might be, take a chance on you, because you deserve it!

About Martha: Psychology has always fascinated me and from a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a helping profession. I find people intriguing – our relationships, behaviours, struggles, and triumphs. Navigating the world can be both rewarding and daunting, and my passion is to support others in discovering how to live their lives in a way that’s most authentic to them.

Outside of my role as a therapist, I value being a daughter, aunt, and friend. In my free time, I enjoy baking, watching true crime series, and trying out new cafes with friends (I love a good iced coffee). I also really value any time I get to spend in nature. The fresh air and natural calmness help me feel grounded and centered, whether that’s venturing out on a hike in the GTA or exploring a new destination (Jasper, Alberta has been my favourite so far!).

One of my favourite hobbies is crocheting and I’ve been working on creating baby blankets and toys to donate to centers that support children in disadvantaged families and communities. I’m grateful that my hobby lets me relax and be creative while helping others!

About Therapy with Martha: Hi and welcome! My name is Martha (she/her), and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

In my practice, I aspire to create a space where you feel safe and supported in exploring the parts of yourself and your experiences that may feel painful or scary. Everyone’s therapy journey takes a unique path – we will work collaboratively to identify your hopes for therapy and what is most helpful for you. Whether it’s improving relationships, increasing self-awareness, or better understanding and honouring your needs and values, I will support you in creating the changes you’re hoping for in your life.

I work from an integrative perspective, drawing on Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches. While I value these modalities, I believe it’s important to adapt therapy to your unique needs and we will work together to create a plan that feels meaningful and best supports your goals.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that serves as a vessel of safety and connection within which we explore how your experiences have shaped your sense of self, relationships, beliefs, and values. I uphold a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, where all parts of you are welcomed and respected. My hope for you is that therapy is a place of vulnerability, clarity, and empowerment.

Taking the first step to reach out for support takes courage – I’m glad you’re here. I invite the opportunity to get to know you and walk alongside you on your journey of healing and growth.

About Harpreet: Outside of my professional work, I’m someone who believes that life is most fulfilling when we’re constantly growing, exploring, and connecting with others. Growing up in a Punjabi household and community, I’ve developed a deep respect for the richness of cultural traditions and the strength of support systems, which continue to shape who I am today. I love to spend time with friends and family—it’s where I feel energized and keeps me grounded and fulfilled.

About Tavneet: Hi there! I’m Tavneet, a Registered Psychotherapist. I belong to the South Asian community and offer services in English and Punjabi. I became a therapist after witnessing how mental health was approached in my community. Since then, I’ve aspired to create a space for people to talk about difficult things with someone who has similar lived experiences to them.

Outside of therapy, I’m an avid concert goer, an iced latte enthusiast, a sushi lover, and consistent reader.

A quote I live by is that “when one door closes, another door opens”. It may not make sense right away, but it will in time.

About Therapy with Tavneet: I hold experience in supporting individuals through relational concerns, mood and personality disorders, trauma, and life transitions.

I view therapy as a collaborative approach where we work together to best support you and the relationships in your life. While in individual therapy, you and I will be present in the room, we’ll create space to explore the relationships and connections outside of the room that influence and impact you. In working with you, I hope to create an environment that is safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic.

About Alex: Welcome! I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) here at Relationship Therapy Centre.

This is my second career. Before COVID-19, I worked in marketing. However, when COVID-19 hit, I spent some time reflecting on the direction I was headed in my career. After much reflection and meeting with other professionals, I concluded that I wanted to be in the helping industry. I have had my own experiences on the other side of the couch and the tools I have learned have helped me through my own challenges.

I enjoy people and learning from others.. I believe in relationship-building within my life, community, and therapeutic space. Relationships can be vital in people’s lives, bringing joy, sadness, anger, love and wholeness. We spend time learning about people, which can help us learn about ourselves. I speak about relationships as they have become impactful and essential to me and helped in making the decision to change my career and grow as a therapist and individual.

About Therapy with Alex: Welcome. My name is Alex Snyder and I am Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) here at Relationship Therapy Centre. As a therapist, I want to learn about you. Let’s explore your past and present, teach me about your story! My goal as a therapist is to create a space where clients feel safe and comfortable. I aim to build relationships with clients and work with them to create tools they can use daily or when faced with challenging emotions or experiences.

When working with couples, I typically support couples who are about to get married, are newly married, or about to become new parents. Emerging themes in couples therapy include but are not limited to communication difficulties, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and reconnection.

Across my work with individuals, teens and couples, I work from a client-centered approach. However, I do pull from other modalities to create an integrative approach. Some modalities include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialogic therapy, narrative, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. As a therapist, I do not believe a one-size-fits-all model exists. When working with my clients my hopes are to create a therapeutic plan that works for them is essential.

I aim to create a space for learning, sharing, and vulnerability when working with my clients. I know that therapy can be challenging at times; it can be hard to dig into experiences, emotions, and thoughts, but I believe in becoming uncomfortable allows for greater exploration and growth.

About Tehreem: Hello! My name is Tehreem and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. I am also a wife and a mother to a toddler. I identify as a second-generation immigrant and as a Muslim South Asian woman.

For me, having to reflect intentionally on my values has been a natural part of growing up with different cultural messages. I see therapy in a similar light: a place to reflect deeply on how we choose to show up in the world. I have two little children who both delight me and challenge me. In my parenthood journey, I have experienced complex pregnancies and birth trauma. I believe that parents having a soft spot to process their experiences is an invaluable resource.

About Therapy with Tehreem: I have worked with individuals from various walks of life and understand that you are the true expert of your life. To me, therapy is about more than just problems. As a therapist, I want to acknowledge both the challenges and the great strengths that you bring. I am dedicated to seeing you as more than the problems that you may discuss with me.

My philosophy is to make space for you and anything you would like to bring to our meetings. I recognize that everyone has a different vision for their life, so it is important to me to listen to you with curiousity and with a non-judgmental attitude. Together, I hope to help you expand your awareness of yourself and explore ways to live in greater alignment to your values and needs. About Minomi: Hello, I’m Minomi Subapanditha and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Before finding my passion in connecting with and supporting individuals as a therapist, I worked in the field of Biochemistry for several years.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, be it mundane or highly energetic activities. One of my favourite things to do is to complete (and glue together) 1000-piece fine art jigsaw puzzles with my mom. Making meaningful connections not only with my social circle but also connecting with myself has helped me become a better therapist. I practice mindfulness and self-compassion daily to elevate my sense of self.

About Therapy with Minomi: Hi, I’m Minomi Subapanditha and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). As an individual therapist, I value building a rich connection with you by being open, nonjudgmental, and empathetic, and fostering trust to provide you the space to be vulnerable. About Brianna: I am shaped by an enduring interest in how people make meaning of their lives. With a background in counselling psychology, linguistics, and through my work as an educational clinician supporting children and adolescents in their learning to read, write, and comprehend, I’ve long been drawn to the intricacies and usage of language – the weight of words, the stories we tell, relating to others, and our understanding of ourselves.

Outside of therapy, I find joy in both solitude and connection. I feel most grounded when I’m outdoors—walking new paths, breathing fresh air, or simply slowing down to notice the world around me. Travel and exploration have been deeply meaningful parts of my life; I’m nourished by the chance to immerse myself in different cultures, landscapes, and ways of being. Whether it’s through navigating unfamiliar places or sharing meals across languages and traditions, I value the perspective, humility, and sense of connection that these experiences bring. I also find meaning in the simple things such as reading a good book, watching an old film, and spending time with those I love. The roles I hold in my own life—as a daughter, sibling, friend, and community member—inform the relational depth and empathy I bring to this work.

About Therapy with Brianna: People often come to therapy carrying questions they can’t yet name or holding experiences that feel too heavy to sort through alone. As a therapist intern, I strive to offer a space where those questions and experiences can be explored with warmth, curiosity, and care.

In this work, I’m guided by a deep respect for the complexity of the human condition and by the belief that healing happens in relationships: with ourselves, with others, and with the stories we carry and reshape. I believe that with each person comes a unique story, along with the strength and insight needed to navigate it, and that therapy can encourage us to compassionately witness and tend to the parts of our stories that may have been overlooked, silenced, or misunderstood.

My approach is grounded in collaboration and draws on integrative practices tailored to each person. It is informed by a systemic-relational lens, meaning I pay attention not only to your inner world, but also hold a strong commitment to understanding the impact of the social, cultural, historical contexts that shape your identity and lived experiences. I seek to create a space that inspires safety through connection and is built upon trust, humility, authenticity, attentiveness, and an openness to what unfolds in the room. My therapeutic style is evolving, supported by ongoing clinical supervision, self-reflection, and a dedication to life-long learning.

Whether you are moving through anxiety, grief, anger, helplessness, relationship struggles, or simply a sense of being stuck, I will meet you where you are with compassion and an attuned presence. Together, we can explore what it means to move through the world as you—and what healing and growth might look like on your terms.

Whatever brings you here today, I want to honour the courage it takes to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and hope to offer you a space where you feel met, heard, and supported as you find your own way forward.

In my practice, empathy and compassion are at the heart of everything I do. I aim to provide a welcoming, warm, and judgement-free space for all my clients. I don’t believe in a one- size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I see our work together as a partnership, built on trust and respect, where we collaborate to find the paths that best suit you.

I truly believe that everyone is the master of their own life and that everyone has the ability to change and grow. My job is to help you feel empowered to make choices that enhance your personal and emotional well-being.

In our sessions, we’ll work on building self-awareness and resilience, equipping you with the skills to handle whatever life throws your way. My goal is to create a supportive environment that not only backs you up but also encourages you to explore and grow personally, leading to a more satisfying life. Through this supportive and collaborative approach, I am dedicated to helping you develop the tools you need to flourish, adapt, and find greater happiness in your life. About Tousha: I love people and connecting with them. As a wife and mother, I have learned to navigate the family landscape well. Living in a joint family with my parents created opportunities to learn and grow from their wisdom. I enjoy travelling, making memories with family and friends, and spending time outdoors. Faith, quality conversations that enhance relationships, and openness to change are important aspects of my life. As a lifelong learner, I continue to seek opportunities to learn and grow and I am grateful that every interaction with others creates space for new experiences.

About Therapy with Tousha: I am a compassionate and empathetic individual with a caring demeanour when working with clients and their challenges. I am sensitive to the needs of the clients, and I demonstrate a passion towards helping people to live holistic lives while maintaining balance and a renewed sense of healing in all areas of their lives. Creating and holding space for clients to be vulnerable and develop a sense of hope is what directs my approach. I can work with individuals from their early teen years into adulthood and support through life’s transitions. My approach is customized to the clients needs and I integrate Cognitive Behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, acceptance and commitment-based therapy, and psychoeducation.

I use a family systems perspective to work with couples and families. As a certified enrich-prepare facilitator, I can support couples at different stages of their relationship to navigate relevant challenges. By listening to what is important to the couple/family and identifying ways to enhance how they relate and navigate their concerns, I hope to come alongside and support their overall needs.

About Keeshia: Hello and welcome! My name is Keeshia and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. Above all, I am a mother to a wonderful boy who reminds me every day of the importance of mindfulness and gratitude. We love to spend time in nature, go for walks and bike rides, find new books and activities, and watch our favourite Disney movies.

I am also a plant mom! I am spiritual and believe in the energetic connection between everything in our universe, from the plants and the animals, to us humans, to the stars in the sky.

I believe our journeys have a deep spiritual meaning and we are here to learn, grow, and evolve. I value kindness, authenticity, empathy, and vulnerability. I start every morning with a cup of tea, three things I am grateful for, and positive affirmations. I believe our minds are truly powerful and we can overcome any obstacle thrown our way; perspective is everything!

About Therapy with Keeshia: Hello and welcome! My name is a Keeshia and I am glad you’re here. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with individuals of varying ages. I love getting to know your story and how you came to be in your current reality. I hope to explore your past and present, and together we can identify what goals you would like to reach.

I believe there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy, so by getting to know you, we will find the ways in which you are best supported. I know that opening up and being vulnerable can be anxiety-inducing, so I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space so you feel comfortable sharing your journey with me. We will always go at your pace; after all, you are the expert!

I also believe it is a sign of true strength to take a step towards reflecting inwards, so self-compassion is something I always encourage. I believe in the power of mindfulness and will notice your indirect ways of communicating with me as well (i.e., your body language) and together we will identify what’s coming up for you.

We will make connections between experiences, relationships, roles, habits, thoughts, patterns, and behaviours, and identify how you envision your future self. My hope is for you to leave our sessions feeling encouraged, validated, hopeful, and empowered. I would be grateful to be a part of your journey and hope we can connect soon!

About Kristine: While my professional identity is important to me, I deeply value the many identities I hold outside of the therapy room. I’m a mom to a wildly funny 3-year-old who keeps me humble and curious, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an auntie, and a devoted dog mom. My relationships shape how I move through the world, including how I show up with clients. I see connection as central to change, and that starts with how we relate to ourselves and each other.

When I’m not in session, you can usually find me chasing my toddler through parks and trails, planning our next adventure (I love immersing myself in new places and cultures), or seeking out live music and the occasional winery. Hot yoga is my go-to reset, especially a Yin class that lets me breathe, stretch, and unwind after a full week. I also have a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures: a cozy blanket, a salty snack, and a questionable reality TV show.

At my core, I value continuous learning. Every day I learn something new about people and about myself. I bring this curiosity and relational lens into my work, believing that change happens not in isolation, but in connection.

About Therapy with Kristine: My unconventional path to this work is deeply personal. Having experienced several hardships early in life, including parental divorce and loss, it has long been my aspiration to support others through their own life challenges. These experiences, along with my unwavering curiosity about the human mind and behaviour, is what brought me to the field of psychotherapy.

As a therapist, I approach our work as a collaborative process. I’m here to listen deeply, walk alongside you, and support you in a way that feels grounded, respectful, and tailored to you. I believe in creating a space that is safe, inclusive, and judgment-free; one where you feel truly seen and heard. I value authenticity, trust, and connection, and I hold a deep respect for the strength it takes to begin this kind of work.

I believe relationships are at the heart of who we are. I work with deep respect for the complex systems we all live within, whether that’s a romantic partnership, a chosen family, or the broader intergenerational dynamics that shape us.

My goal is to create a space where each person in the room feels heard, valued, and understood. I work collaboratively to help individuals, couples and families slow things down, tune into underlying emotions and needs, and explore patterns that may have you feeling stuck.

About Amber: Hi, I’m Amber. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist, but I also fill several other roles in my life, such as being a mom to two exceptional children, a dog mom of two and a cat mom of one, a wife, daughter, and business owner. I have a strong love of animals that has led me to experience many opportunities, from opening a doggie daycare, spa, and boarding facility, to advocating and volunteering for the OSPCA and the Etobicoke Humane Society, to adopting my beautiful Galgo from Spain last spring.

I also enjoy anything and everything to do with the outdoors. I find being by the water to be very grounding and relaxing. When I’m not engaged with clients, you can find me relaxing by a pool or lake, attending one of my children’s sporting events, sitting on a patio, or going for a hike with friends.

About Therapy with Amber: I am a Registered Psychotherapist and passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming their adversaries. I am honoured to have the opportunity to help people become aware of their strengths, self-worth, and goals. Working from a collaborative, nonjudgmental, empathetic lens, encouraging clients to be the catalysts of their own realities, where I intuitively walk alongside them through the difficulties they are experiencing. I emphasize approaching my clients from a place of not knowing, striving to understand their ideologies, beliefs, values, and perspectives while honoring everyone’s ideals around health and healing.

I have a strong sentiment and have experience guiding clients through issues centering around Anxiety, Depression, Gender/Identity Concerns, Self-Esteem, Self-Worth, Life Transitions, Family Trauma, and Relational Challenges.

I work from a lens encompassing a multitude of therapeutic frameworks, embracing Narrative Theory, SFBT, Dialogical Theory, Emotion-focused Theory, Attachment Theory, and some components of CBT while employing a Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Non-Judgemental, Collaborative Lens.

About Vanessa: While therapy is all about you, here’s a little about me! My passion for mental health began with a deep curiosity about human connection and the ways we experience ourselves and others. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting teens and adults from diverse backgrounds by listening to their stories, celebrating their growth, and helping them create meaningful change. I truly believe that how we engage with ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us has a profound impact on our overall well-being.

Outside of therapy, you can often find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, at my sewing machine bringing ideas to life, or lost in a book as a forever student. I also love exploring events in the GTA that celebrate music, food, and art to create moments that bring joy, connection, and shared experiences with my loved ones.

About Therapy with Vanessa: Leaning into therapy is a courageous step toward understanding yourself, your relationships, and the experiences that shape your daily life. I deeply respect that choice and strive to create a space where you feel supported, valued, and empowered to navigate the challenges that brought you here. Whether you’re facing a single concern or what feels like a range of issues I walk alongside you to foster clarity, confidence, and meaningful change.

Each person’s path to healing is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet your needs. Therapeutic approaches I often draw from include Attachment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to integrate evidence-based methods that provide both structure and flexibility in a way that resonates with you. With warmth, empathy, and collaboration, I aim to guide you toward uncovering insights, developing resilience, and building strengths that align with your goals.
